Note: use either “though” or “Although” “Still” but don’t mix them.

16. W. This book is better instead of that one.
R. This book is better than that one.
Note: “than” is used after comparative adjectives and adverbs
.
17. W. Work hard lest you should not fail.
R. Work hard lest you should fail.
Note: “Lest “ should be by “should” and not by “should not”.

18. W. It looks like, it might rain.
R. It looks as if/ as though it might rain.
Note: As if/ as though do not mean “like”
